PENSACOLA, Fla., Nov. 18, 2009 – Digital Check, a provider of desktop check scanners and remote deposit capture technology to the financial industry, announced that Pensacola, Fla.-based Silver Bullet Technology has now certified and supports Digital Check’s recently launchedTellerScan® TS240, a check scanner designed for high-volume institutions, with its Ranger®API software solution.
By adding support for the TS240, Silver Bullet’s Ranger, the universal API, now provides support for Digital Check’s entire TS series of scanners. TS240 enhancements that are supported by Ranger include:
- High speed, non-contact image cameras (300 DPI);
- Expanded input feeder and output pocket capacities (100 documents each)
- Increased scan speeds (50, 75 and 100 DPM models); and
- An intelligent front-franking stamp option

Application providers who already use Ranger API are now able to offer rapid support for the TS240 for branch or high-volume RDC clients. New application providers who choose to develop to the Ranger API will be able to support the full line of Digital Check products.
