NORTHBROOK, IL, Oct. 18, 2007 – Digital Check Corporation, a leading provider of electronic check scanners for the distributed check capture industry, has named Bruce Rennecker vice president of product management and marketing. Rennecker will lead development of new products and services at Digital Check and lead business development activities.
Prior to joining Digital Check, Rennecker was vice president of sales and marketing for Summit Industries Inc., a privately owned x-ray manufacturing company. He was responsible for developing operation strategies for each area of the company as it forward into the digital x-ray market, in addition to establishing and implementing sales and marketing plans for the company.
Rennecker was also vice president of sales and marketing for Tangent Systems Inc., a privately owned software company specializing in high-speed transaction processing solutions for Fortune 1000 companies. In this position, he was responsible for all sales and marketing activities, as well as establishing reseller agreements with various companies for computer systems. He began his career at Bell & Howell Company, where he was vice president and general manager of the DMPC Scanner division.
