The energy efficient check scanner supports green initiatives with low power consumption and remote shutdown capabilities. The low noise device is an additional benefit for small office and home office environments.
An estimated 14.5 million small businesses are candidates for remote deposit capture, according to a recent survey conducted by Celent on small business remote deposit capture. Celent estimates a current adoption rate of less than one percent within this market segment. CheXpress expands Digital Check’s product line with a device specifically designed for these small business customers. Offered at a lower price point, the scanner enables financial institutions to further promote distributed check capture applications within small businesses by providing a low maintenance, consumer-friendly product.

CheXpress units are currently being certified by Digital Check software partners. Shipments to customers will begin in July 2008.
