Digital Check Corp. (DCC) specializes in providing check scanning equipment to banking and financial markets around the world through a network of systems integrators, resellers, and solution providers.
To meet the increasing global demand for check scanners/transports, DCC has formed strategic partnerships. This has enabled DCC to introduce new products, product development, and support, on a more timely basis, to the U.S. and International financial market place. Currently, DCC has strategic alliances with a production company in Japan for check scanner manufacturing, UniSoft Imaging for API development and API technical support.
Digital Check's President & CEO, Thomas P. Anderson Jr., is a familiar name in the document management and microfilm industry. Tom Anderson's father, the late Thomas Sr., was the founder of Microseal Corporation and a Past President and Fellow of the AIIM association. Anderson Jr., himself a member of AIIM for over 25 years, founded Digital Check which is headquartered in Northfield, Illinois a suburb of Chicago.
Digital Check Technologies (DCT) a wholly owned subsidiary of Digital Check, is based in Rancho Cucamonga, California. DCT's services include contract manufacturing, complete technical support services, and customized engineering solutions. For over 35 years, Digital Check Technologies has produced microfilm cameras and digital scanners for a variety of OEM clients including Bell & Howell, Kodak, 3M, Agfa-Gaevert, NASA, and Burbank Studios, to name a few.
DCC acquired ST Imaging (STI) in 1999 and it's headquartered in Northfield, Illinois. STI formerly owned by Simone Elkeles and founded by the late Gideon Elkeles, a longtime Chicago microfilm pioneer, is a provider of roll and fiche, motorized, and manual microfilm carriers for reader printers. The STI line of products includes carriers developed for Bell & Howell, Canon, Minolta, and Info Graphics, as well as, for a worldwide channel of independent resellers. STI also provides the ST200 line of all digital solutions for viewing, printing, and capture of digital images from roll film, microfiche and micro cards.
